COUNTRY HOUSE IN THE AREA OF SPATA, ATTICA
All spaces designed to host different units of activity are autonomous, arranged around a patio and connected by means of a ring-road, a passageway that runs all around it. This element enabling circulation on the interior, with its openings (the light and views allowed) and its respective extensions (areas of repose or movement) enrich space with the memory of outdoor movement (passageway-road).
Arrangement of this patio resembles that of a small open-air amphitheatre opening onto open or roofed terraces and delimited by a yard with two gates.
The house both encloses this open-air space and is itself enclosed by it – this condition establishing areas in it of a varied degree of privacy.
